Welcome to PANGENG

Anhui Pangeng Gas Compressor Co., Ltd. was founded in 2013 by a group of young engineers and specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of special gas compressors.

We are a compressor manufacturer with R&D and production capabilities. Our core products are process gas compressors and booster compressors. (Main products: hydrogen compressors, nitrogen compressors, air compressors, and booster compressors.)
Our company is located in Anhui, China. After years of market experience, we have come to the conclusion that, for comparable quality, our prices offer superior performance; for comparable prices, our quality is superior!

What is a booster compressor?

A booster compressor is a machine that increases the pressure of compressed gas by re-compressing it after intake.

It usually adopts a piston type, with V-shaped piston main engines being the most common. The booster compressor itself requires a motor or engine to drive it and is a device for re-compressing compressed gas.

What are the features and applications of the booster compressor?

There are generally two types of booster compressors. One type is used to boost the pressure of compressed air. For instance, the output pressure of a screw air compressor is typically 8-30 bar. After being further compressed by a booster compressor, the gas pressure can be increased to 100-550 bar (the most cost-effective pressure range; beyond 550 bar, the price becomes very high). The other type is used to boost the pressure of nitrogen or special gases such as hydrogen and argon. When boosting the pressure of special gases, the purification process must be considered to avoid contaminating the gas source. The pressure can be increased from 8-16 bar to 100-550 bar.

The application and usage methods of supercharged compressors!

When people need to build natural gas pipelines or hydrogen pipelines, after the pipelines are completed, it is usually necessary to test whether the pipelines are leaking. Due to the large internal volume of the pipelines, compressed gas at 100 bar and 30 m3/min or above is typically chosen for the test. Booster compressors can be used to serve the leakage test of pipelines. Additionally, booster compressors generally produce gas at very high pressures, usually at 150 bar, 200 bar, 250 bar, 300 bar, 400 bar, or 500 bar, and the compressed gas flow rate is 30-100 m3/min (100-3500 CFM). Such compressed gas can also be injected into oil wells to force oil and natural gas to flow out of the well, thus enabling the recovery of oil and natural gas even from completed oil and gas wells. Therefore, booster compressors can be used for the recovery of oil and natural gas. On the other hand, booster compressors can output high-pressure nitrogen. Nitrogen is an inert gas, and such booster compressors can be used for underground fire protection or fire extinguishing!
